Our European partners have been instrumental in advancing our global health and development goals. In addition to building relationships with partners, the Europe team works to sustain European donor support for international development and supports the foundation’s policy, advocacy, and communications activities in Europe. Europe has long been an important partner for the foundation in tackling the world’s pressing health and development challenges. Europe is responsible for more than half of the world’s development aid and has a long history of applying its resources, innovations, and insights to saving lives and reducing poverty. Its activist civil society and engaged media have also played an important role in advancing these efforts.
